The first subway line was begun in 1970. It has expanded to nine lines. It's brilliant. The main problem for me is that if I daydream I miss my stop. No problem, off at the next stop, cross the platmorm and a train going the other direction will be there within two minutes.
I've read of people in Japan sleeping on the train. Here, if they're not on their I pads theres dozing going on.
