My first stop was the Scientific Museum. All the signage was in Korean. A pleasant young guide handed me a sheet decribing in English the different animals partially disected and varnished. It was like the Chinese human exhibit. The info sheet described it this way, and I quote. "These animals once lived in the zoo or the acquariaum. They died of natural causes or sudden death". Unquote.
