Seoul Korea

The Seoul airport is classy. They provide reading glasses for folks to fill out immigration and customs forms. After an exhausting search. I found a guest house on line and printed directions to find it. I chose a single bed room with shared bath. It's too tiny to fit me and my bags and no TV! It's $30 a night. and much too busy a place to light up one of the joints I smuggled in right past the sniffing beagle. It's phucquing cold here too. It's about 6 C. That's mid 40's F. I think. The city itself is quite nice, not at all like Sigrids description. I arrived with no jacket or vest or sweater. One of the lads in charge learnt me about the subway and where a large market district was. I found an ugly black and red water resistant jacket ($15) and a gray fleece vest for $3. Both have backwards zippers. I think that means they are girls clothes, right? I can't find a proper liquor store. At 7 11 Jim Beam is $32 a bottle! A shudder to think of the price of a drink in a bar. I wanna go back to Hua Hin! OKAY, I'll man up. I've booked a tour to the DMZ and other stuff up there for tomorrow. The next day I'll do some serious subwaying. There are nine subway lines. The map looks like multicolored spagetti all mixed up. I've got Picasa loaded and they don't mind that I've been hogging the computer for hours. Want more tomorrow? Love, Doh Doh (my newest moniker from the massage ladies)
