These tiny glasses are samples, no, not beer but tea! Annie knitted a lovely scarf for a friend. To show his appreciation he gave her a gift certificate to the Sogo department store. We went there our last evening for a 'big meal'. The table filled with dishes is our last dinner together. The store has elevator operators.
In the blink of an eye, our four days were over. Annie took the train south to home and work, and I took another train to the small town of Jiaosi, famous for it's many hot springs.
