# 36 Taipei Taiwan
Halloh. On Jan. 2 I flew to Taipei without incident. Annie was waiting for me outside customs at the airport. We spent four fun days seeing sights and eating lots of tasty food. These photos are of the various buildings that make up the Chiang Kai Shek memorial hall complex. In one of the buildings was an impressive exhibition of Andy Warhol works.
Annie lives in the south of Taiwan but went to university in Taipei. The MRT, (subway) had not been built when she was here. The system very much has the look and feel of the underground in Bangkok, but is much more extensive. Our learning curve was very similar. We only got onto the wrong train one time. We did miss our stop on two occasions having been chatting and not paying attention.
