Halloh. I didn't write for a long time cuz on account of internet being so expensive in the south. In Chiang Mai it's 50 cents an hour. In the south islands it's 10 times that. I have to download Picasa. That takes about 20 minutes, then download my photos. That takes more time. I am a poor backpacker after all!
From Krabi, we had a smooth sail toKoh Lanta. This jelly fish was bigger than a basketball. On Koh Lanta we had a rough go trying to find lodging. It's a scramble with many folks off the same boat looking for digs. We got settled in a large resort in rooms with no air con and no window screens! The fan in my room rattled as if one blade was missing. We moved next door in the morning to a nicer place. In all my Thai travels I have never been treatly rudely by an innkeeper, until now. I hope never to return to this island.
