The next day. Bevan, Min, Mike and I motorbiked out of town with Ole and Apple to see their new home. They bought one Rai (about 1/3 acre) from Apples father. They then hired a builder and his crew. Ole and Apple made all the materials purchases and oversee the work. It's going to be a fine house with four bedrooms and covered porches front and back. I may be off 'a little' bit',but I think the total cost of land and building will be about $ 50,000 U.S. I may alter my travel plans to Cambodia to attend the open house in Feburary.
Tomorrow, Mike and I will go to Lampang to visit Shaun and Boong, and see their new house. Then it's off to Hua Hin to meet up with the southern conference wild bunch. There are plans afoot to invade the south and check out Nakon Si Thammarat. There's a mouthfull.
