This unfinished resort on the beach in Sihanoukville was a work in progress last year. The French company ran out of money. By Cambodian law, if it's not finished in a timely manner, the government can seize the property. It did.
This is an image of a very rare iceburg that floated over from Newfoundland. These folks are having a meal on the shady side of this bus. On my bus trip back to Phenom Penh we had a meal stop. Next to the buiding was a multiple use property. A laundry and garbage dump.
I have been struggling mightily of late with Picasa and Blogger. I don't know if it's the user, the terminal or the providers. I'm back in Hua Hin. It's another Buddah three day holiday. Nuan has jacked the rates at Sirima. Just like Sihanukville during the Chinese New Year. I wonder if the Thai guests get a special rate. Lots of young Thai have looked at rooms and left. Maybe not! The bars are closed today. At Jings we'll be able to sneak some drinks in the back garden, out of sight from the police.
I think you're caught up. I'm going to hang here until I hear about the Apple Ole housewarming. Mike and I talk evey day, gossiping like a couple of gurls! I'm reading the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. It's good. I've got lots of Wonderwords. Time to 'leelax'!
