S 21 The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museu
The three buildings of a former high school in P.N. became the center for the torture of enemies of the state. Thousands were tortured to death. The guards kept accurate photographic records. They photograhed the prisoners that died to show their superiors that they had not escaped.
When the Vietnamese arrive January 7 1979, there were only 14 prisoners left. Six were alive. Three are alive today.
