Naga fireball festival 1

Halloh! I have been sufferin a variety of computer angst of late. But here we finally go!
The whole premise of coming to Thailand early this year was to attend the annual Nhon Khai fireball festival. Nhon Khai straddles the the bank of the mighty Mekong river. On the opposite bank is Laos. Every year in early October methane gas 'allegedly' rises from the river and ignites in the air. This is a huge event. Upwards of 500,000 people come to the festival, not just in Nhon Khai, but others cities on the river. Entire streets are closed to become vast food and souvinier (sp) markets. People secure space on the river bank early in the day.
