Hi. I signed on for a one day Mekong Delta bus and boat trip. Most of these tours are kinda stupid. For $10 they keep me out of trouble for a whole day and they feed me lunch. So what the hell!
The bus stops halfway there so you can buy trinkets. Then you go on a big boat, you see a coconut candy factory. They transfer you to a medium size boat. You have some lunch. Back on the medium boat to another location to listen to some singers and buy little bottles of wine with cobras and scorpions inside. Then you are onto a small boat for a paddle through narrow canals where you are urged to tip the paddlers. Then back onto a big boat to the bus. Halfway back, another stop to buy packaged local fruits and more trinkets.
