Sawee dee kap. Ole and Apple moved into a place together. It's customary to have a party to celebrate. Very few single Thai make food at home. Their living places are usually one room with no cooking facilities. Ole and Apple have a separate bedroom, and a kitchenette with a sink and very small fridge. The gals are cooking on the floor. In the forground, Apples head is obscuring the cooker. An enormous amount of vegetables and meats were cut and steamed in sucession. Thai women never stop eating. It's unbelievable how much food they can consume.
Heres a phot of one of my 'birday' presents. Big boy socks, a gift from Big John. I'll wear them when I return home. It's too hot here!
I arrived in Saigon last night. I will now prepare for my third assault on Vietnam.
