Halloh. Vang Vieng is a touristy backpacker haven sort of town. Young people are drawn here by kayaking and tubing down the Nam Song river. There are many caves that can be explored, and hiking and biking in the nearby hills. There are dozens of guesthouses and small hotels. Also, many bars. By law, bars must close at 11:30 P.M. I guess the party doesn't believe in partying!
