The train museum in York

This was a really fun trip. Alex has suggested we do it again in Holland next year. It would be easy enough for the English lads to pop across the channel.
I still haven't gone for 'some foods'
Bye for now Dee Doh

Liverpool

Alex and I gave Mike another break. It was off to Liverpool! This time by train. When we told Mike we were going, he developed a look of shock and awe. "Liverpool, why the hell would you want to go there!"
It was a music festival weekend. There were several outdoor stages and many bars had live music too. Gin and tonic in a can? Yeah baby!

Lincoln

After a couple days R and R at Mikes, Alex and I were ready for another adventure. We booked a bus tour to Lincoln and York. We were told it was two nights away (only one) and that we would stay in York (no, in Hull). Oh well! Alex and I were the only non Brits on the coach. We got three hours to see Lincoln which dates back to Roman times. This is part of the old wall and gate. The famous cathedral.
